Leprosorium

Reaching out to the most marginalised

Our Leprosorium Outreach programme is a ministry of presence to those affected by leprosy, a disease that carries not only physical suffering but deep social stigma. We visit leprosariums, provide companionship, and advocate for the dignity and rights of those affected.

Leprosy remains a reality in parts of Nigeria, where those affected are often isolated in leprosariums with little access to healthcare or social support. Our volunteers make regular visits to these communities, offering friendship, listening to stories, and providing practical assistance.

We work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that those affected receive necessary medical care, while also advocating for their social inclusion and human rights. Many of the individuals we visit have been rejected by their families and communities, making our presence a vital source of connection.

Through this ministry, we seek to break down the walls of stigma and isolation, affirming the humanity and dignity of every person, regardless of their circumstances.
